There’s something so timeless about a garden on a cloudy day. Lisa and Sebastiano’s engagement photoshoot in Montecito, California was filled with coastal elegance. We explored two gorgeous locations, San Ysidro Ranch and the Rosewood Miramar, and honestly, we’re already dreaming of going back!

Even though the sky was overcast, the light worked in our favor. The softness added a quiet romance to every shot. These two fully leaned into the mood and made it feel like an editorial straight from a magazine.

Starting at the Iconic San Ysidro Ranch

Our first stop was the iconic San Ysidro Ranch. Between the winding garden paths and historic architecture, every backdrop felt effortlessly beautiful. We took photos on the steps surrounded by lush greenery and stopped in the gardens to really soak in the vibe.

Their outfits were completely on point too. The neutral tones and monochromatic look blended so well with the scenery and helped keep everything feeling clean, soft, and luxe.

A Rosewood Miramar Engagement in Montecito

After the garden vibes, we made our way closer to the coast and headed to the Rosewood Miramar. The energy shifted just slightly. Still romantic and elevated, but with that fresh ocean breeze and a little celebratory drink in hand. This part of the session added that perfect lifestyle element. It felt like a date night captured in real time, and it was such a fun way to close out the shoot.

Between the gorgeous locations, their effortlessly stylish looks, and the laid-back chemistry between them, this session was the perfect mix of luxury and romance. It had that modern editorial feel, but still felt like them.
