A Love Story in Santa Barbara

Diana and Sheldon didn’t grow up in Santa Barbara—funny enough, they both moved to the area from different places and ended up as neighbors. That twist of fate brought them together, and now here they are planning their wedding day! Their connection is undeniable. During their shoot, it was like they forgot we were even there. Just two people fully in love, living in the moment!

From the moment we arrived at the beach, we knew it was going to be a good one. The weather was dreamy—clear skies, golden light, and hardly anyone else around. Diana wanted the photos to feel lighthearted and fun, and we definitely delivered on that! The session ended with the two of them jumping into the freezing Pacific (by choice!!), giggling and holding hands as the waves crashed around them. Absolute icons.

This session was extra special because we shot it on both digital and film. Beth captured the crisp, clean digital moments, while Kenzie brought the nostalgic charm with film. Seeing the same exact scenes captured in two different ways gave the gallery this amazing timeless quality.
