When the big day arrives, you can count on us to be your calm amidst the whirlwind of emotions. Our unobtrusive style allows us to blend in like family, capturing genuine moments of love, joy, and even those charming little mishaps that make your day uniquely yours. From the moment you book our services, we embark on a journey to understand your love story, your personalities, and your vision for the wedding day. We believe that every couple is unique, and we strive to tailor our approach to reflect your individuality. Through the pre-wedding prep and planning, we get to know you both, building a strong foundation of trust and friendship that translates into more intimate and authentic photographs.
1. Complimentary Engagement Session
We always recommend our couples take this opportunity to have their sweet season of engagement captured. Whether you use them for save-the-dates or just want a little ice-breaker for the big day. It provides space to become more acquainted with what it’s like being in front of our camera. Plus, it can be completely personalized to you. Wanna go back to where he proposed or do something you specifically enjoy together? The world is your oyster and we’re overjoyed to bring that to life.
2. Leading up to the Wedding
We’re here to support you and come alongside you during the months leading up to your special day. Need vendor recommendations, help with your timeline, or just an open ear to brainstorm your wildest ideas? We’ve got you! Just a couple months prior, we send out a simplified and easy questionnaire to go over the remaining details to ensure we’re on the same page and ready to go. Then working with your planner/coordinator on building out the timeline. Ultimately, our #1 priority is to understand exactly what you and your families need from us and we make it happen.
As the days draw nearer to your wedding, we're there with you every step of the way. From scouting locations to sharing tips for the perfect engagement outfit, we become your confidantes and cheerleaders. Our aim is to make this journey enjoyable, stress-free, and full of excitement.
3. On the Big Day
On wedding days, you will always have both of us capturing all the goodness - we consider ourselves a package deal. You get the perk of having a second perspective for all your most special moments. Bethany is a wizard with her camera and has a soft-spoken, calming presence - insuring to capture the fleeting moments that are often overlooked. Mackenzie takes the lead on guiding and directing, while making room for you to be completely yourselves and allowing moments to unfold naturally. Together we work creatively, always bouncing ideas off of each other to ensure you have intentional and true photos for a lifetime.
Throughout the day, we'll be by your side, offering reassurance and calming nerves. We'll cheer you on during your first dance, and probably shed a tear during your heartfelt speeches. Our goal is not just to take photographs but to be present for you, celebrating you!
4. Your Photographs and Keepsakes
And when the day is over, we don't say our goodbyes. We'll lovingly curate your photographs, ensuring that each one radiates the love you felt on your special day. Our editing process is meticulous, enhancing the beauty without altering the authenticity of the moments. We want you to look at these images and relive every emotion, just as if time stood still. You’ll receive a handful of sneak peek images as soon as 48 hours after the day.
