Tabitha and Blake’s elopement was the kind of day that felt effortless from start to finish. They chose the Santa Barbara Courthouse for their ceremony, which was the perfect backdrop for their intimate vows. The energy was lighthearted since they kept things small with just their closest family, friends, and pets. Their Jack Russell named Pete and their Sphynx cat named Duncan even made an appearance, which made everyone smile!

We loved how relaxed the day felt. There was no rush from one moment to the next, and instead, they focused on spending time with the people who mattered most. Because many of their guests traveled from the South, it was their first time experiencing Santa Barbara. Exploring downtown together gave them a mix of candid memories and gorgeous architecture, all captured on both digital and film.

After the courthouse ceremony, everyone walked down to the beach. The newlyweds popped champagne, cut into their wedding cake, and laughed as waves crashed nearby. You could feel how much fun they were having, and their guests soaked up the California sunshine right alongside them. Ending the day at the beach was such a good choice since it gave the whole celebration a timeless and dreamy feel.

The highlight for us was watching them kick off their shoes and jump into the ocean. It summed up their approach to the day perfectly: carefree, joyful, and all about celebrating love in their own way!
